Marley has an amazing Shetland pony Carreg Wen Salem who we have had on lease. For Christmas recently my mum bought him for me I’m so lucky. I love Salem and hope to qualify him for grand nationals. I also have my darling black welsh gelding Dalbrae Marcus (Merlin) and his a real sweetheart. I love riding him. My mum and gran support me in my riding and I’m very lucky. My other pony Emily has just had a foal and his beautiful. I love being apart of the Barastoc Junior Squad and I started riding at 2 years of age Marley loves how amazing her ponies are and how special they are, they mean the world to her and they are her best friends. I love everything about my horses their personality their charm and the way the look after me when i ride them.
Marley has just recently got a new pony he is a little bigger and her next step, so Marley has been working on bonding with him and getting to know him it takes 12 months to bond with a new pony so it’s very exciting for Marley. Marley still loves riding her main man Carreg Wen Salem, there is no way she will stop riding him she loves him and she can’t wait to compete him also this season. Marley’s goal this season will be to qualify for show horse grand nationals just like her high brother. Marley will also compete in all the leading reins on her new pony Merlin, and she will also ride Chevy in the hunter leading reins, and Salem in the child's, busy times ahead but so much fun.
Cruize rides all our ponies and really enjoy helping out my sisters giving them lessons, its lots of fun my main horse is Kenda park Chevrolet (CHEVY) his my mate, we do lots of showing with him. I also have just got a beautiful new open pony and i cant wait to compete him my mum gives me lessons and helps me out I’m very fortunate to have such an amazing mum and grandmother who support me in my riding. Being selected to be on the Barastoc Junior Squad such an exciting moment!! something that we had dreamed of! I started riding when I was 2 years old.
Cruize recently competed at the welsh national show and had wonderful placings, and has re qualified for next years show. Cruize has been working very hard with his pony Kenda Park Chevrolet, his been working towards his future goals. Cruize and chevy have had a wonderful constant season with lots of placings. Cruize loves riding chevy their bond has now become very strong and he looks forward to the upend coming show season. Cruize hopes to qualify Chevy for show horse council grand nationals, which is a very hard thing to do but its his goal and his going to work very had to achieve it and his mum and grandma will be there helping him along the way. Cruize turns 8 later in the year so he now transitions out of leading rein and heads out on his own in every class so it’s going to be a tough year. Cruize’s number one thing to do with his pony is show but he also loves jumping, and galloping around the paddock.
We use Calm Performer for our show horses and breed and grow for our foals, groom for the shine. My old horses eats anything Barastoc but also loves Equibix.
