Conditioning feed
Fibre-Beet is a conditioning horse feed with a carefully formulated combination of Speedi-Beet, Lucerne and oat fibre supplemented with biotin, sodium and calcium.
If you’re trying to decide between Fibre-Beet or Speedibeet, the former can be fed in larger quantities, making it a superb conditioning feed that’s ideal for horses that require a controlled starch intake. In fact, if your horse is in light work, the robust combination of Fibre-Beet with a balancer and good forage ensures a complete fibre feed for horses.
As Fibre-Beet recognises that horses evolved principally to eat grass which contains 80-90% water, Fibre-beet horse feed is designed to be fed as a wet feed. By combining alfalfa and Speedi-Beet together into one easy to use lozenge, Fibre-Beet offers an excellent source of highly digestible fibre in a liquid form that provides your horse with slow-release energy and no fizz.
Fibre-Beet is a superb conditioning, high fibre horse feed. It is ideal if you are short of good quality forage, and is capable of being fed at up to 1kg/100kg bodyweight of horse. This means that for a 500kg horse you can feed up to 5kg of Fibre-Beet (dry weight) each day. If you have no forage, you can actually substitute all your forage with Fibre-Beet as a short-term solution. Consult us directly for specific advice and always measure your Fibre-Beet dry before soaking.
