What do you love most about your horse? I adore everything about him, he really is my type of horse. But if i had to choose, definitely his personality. He is funky and goofy, he loves to play around with people and horses. He's always happy to have a play but knows when to calm down or when you need 'someone' to talk to.
Funny habits, how does your horse make you smile? His personality and goofiness, hes forever mucking around with the other horses, and galloping through the paddock (likes to think hes still got racehorse in him). He nibbles at the other horses hooves and legs while theyre trying to roll and loves a good cuddle, especially while laying down.

What do you love most about horses? How understanding they are and how much they can teach us. They know when we need a horsey hug and a pick-me-up. They muck around and provide support when we need it. As well as teaching us so much. Perseverance, patience, pain, happiness, stubbornness and so much more, all of which make this sport what it is.
Do you have an idol in the Equine World? I have many people I look up to, and at the moment Maleah Lang-McMahon is the biggest one. Maleah is only a few years older than me and such an amazing rider, competing grand prix and going to World Cups. She is an amazing rider with so much talent and I really look up to her.
Who is your biggest supporter? My grandma, she is always helping me and teaching me, pushing me to be my best and reminding me my of my aspirations. She gives me so much faith, I don't know where i'd be without her.
Describe your favourite horse memory? Bega to Moruya jumping last year. Red and I had only just began seriously competing 1m/1.05, we went to Bega to jump and Red got the stable just beside the caravan door, so the whole four days we were at Bega Red has his goofy head in the caravan door. I have pictures of him trying to eat mums hotdog while she was sitting on the couch The day we left Bega we went straight to Moruya jumping, the day before it started the show ground was quite bare so I hopped on bareback and went for a stroll. It was just going on sunset as I was walking around, so the sky was every colour of the rainbow, it was gorgeous and I got to spend it with my best boy.
What are your ambitions or dreams with your current horses? My biggest goal with Red at the moment is Sydney Royal 2022. My family have ben a big part of Sydney Royal, my uncle being the ringmaster for the past 6 years. Sydney has been my biggest dream for as long as i can remember, in my whole life, i've never missed the show. Beyond that, I am working towards reaching Mini/Grand Prix level with Red. With Jack, my newest addition, only competing 80cm at the moment, id love to reach that level with him as well, however for the moment i just want to get him used to being out and about as hes only had one outing.
Where do you see yourself riding in 5 years? 5 Sydney royals under my belt haha. But in all seriousness, consistently doing Sydney Royal with Red and maybe even some others, and perhaps even World Cup/Grand prix with Red.
Why do you want to be part of the Barastoc Junior Squad? I have a good history with your products and believe that this would be a good opportunity for both you guys and myself, as well an opportunity to expand my friendship circle.
How do you think being a member of the Barastoc Junior Squad will help your riding? Through being a part of the barastoc junior squad my horses and myself will get fun opportunities to improve and focus on ourselves in both performance and horsemanship.
Which Barastoc Ambassador would you most like to meet? Alex Gostelow from the Gostelow Team, I have seen her ride at Sydney Royal and she is an amazing rider, i'd love to get to know her personally and learn from her.
Have you fed Barastoc to your horses in the past? If so, what products did you use? Yes, we have used a range of your products, mainly Barastoc Groom to support their hooves, coats, and get them the nutrients they need.
