Your age – Fav food’ and or what food you do not like? I am 18 years old and I love chocolate, especially Lindt chocolate.
What makes you really happy – What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not riding? I like to read and watch movies and TV
What colour is your horse- height – age – level? Lilly is a brown, 16.2hh thoroughbred. She is 9 years old and we are currently competing Novice/Elementary.
Daz is a flaxen chestnut and is around 15hh and very green, however we have been training preliminary and novice tests at home.
How long you have had your horse? I have had Lilly for 3 years, Daz for 5 years.
How long have you been riding? I have been riding since I can remember, about 16 years.
What you love most about your horse? I love how personable and affectionate Lilly can be, she is very sweet most of time and I love just chilling out with her because is always happy for a pat and a scratch behind the ears.
I love how cute and cheeky Daz is, he is the best horse to play with in the paddock and I love doing obstacles with him as he is very quick to learn and loves to show off how clever he is.
What do you love most about horses? Personality- every horse is different and I love getting to know their different quirks and personalities, it makes every horse unique and interesting to ride and care for.
If you had to pick just one, what is your favourite discipline? This is way too tough, I love training for dressage however my favourite discipline has to be eventing because cross country is my absolute favourite thing ever.
What do you hope to do when you grow up? I hope to work in the health services, at the moment that is being a doctor but that could definitely change in the future.
Tell us what your goals are for the future? Go to university and study biomedicine. Take Lilly to more elementary competitions. Take Daz to his first competition.
Do you have an idol in the Equine world? Emma Booth, I find her resilience very inspiring and I love her passion for advocating the potential of off the track thoroughbreds in dressage.
If you could meet one famous person in the world, who would it be? Charlotte Dujardin
Who is your biggest supporter?
My biggest supporters are my Mum and Dad, they are the best grooms/travel managers / accommodation finders/photographers ever. I am also very thankful to my super coach Jason Dins, without his guidance and support I would not be the rider I am today.
