What do you love most about your horse? I love everything about my horse but definitely his personality. His is a very quirky horse and always manages to make me laugh. I love how enthusiastic he is about eventing and his determination to jump higher. I only just started eventing him this year and his shown his capabilities despite issues with his saddle
Funny habits, how does your horse make you smile? Mr Beer always makes me laugh especially when I give him treats as he just loves them he gets so excited and tries to get the treats from my pocket and When I blow softly on his nostrils he raises his top lip and it looks like his smiling
What do you love most about horses? I love how Mr Beer is so cute and how he is so enthusiastic for eventing. I also love when we are out on cross country and I am talking to him, he puts his ear back like he is listening and focusing, it makes me feel so happy and I know that I can trust him, I know we are in it together.
Do you have an idol in the Equine World? My idol is my coach Ashlee Slavich. She has taught me so much and watching her ride and compete makes me so much more determined.
Who is your biggest supporter? I would say I have multiple supports however my 2 biggest supporters would definitely be my mum and my coach.
Describe your favourite horse memory? My favourite memory would be competing Mr beer at Wandin park, the cross country was completely breathtaking. My favourite bit that I will never forget would be the feeling of going through the start flags and also coming to the end of the course being so excited of how well we had done.
What are your ambitions or dreams with your current horses? I am wanting to compete 1* eventing by next year but my biggest dream is definitely to compete over seas with him and show people what we are really made of.
Where do you see yourself riding in 5 years? I think in 5 years I will be still riding Mr Beer and competing 3* or even 4*. I will also be riding a younger horse to school for when the time comes to retire Mr Beer.
Why do you want to be part of the Barastoc Junior Squad? I would love to be apart of the Barastoc Junior Squad to have the amazing opportunity of being able to represent the brand and showing everyone what your company has to offer.
How do you think being a member of the Barastoc Junior Squad will help your riding? I think it would help my riding in various ways, it would get my name out there and recognised by more individuals within the eventing industry. If I were fortunate enough to be sponsored receiving your good quality food it would enhance Mr Beer’s nutrition and overall performance.
Which Barastoc Ambassador would you most like to meet? I would love to meet John Daley because I'm interested in the nutritional formula behind the feeds and insuring that horses are provided with essential nutrients and energy to maximise performance.
Have you fed Barastoc to your horses in the past? If so, what products did you use? We use Calm Performer, Speedi-beet, Complete Performer, Breed N Grow.
