Interschool Nationals was an amazing experience, and with no faults on course on either horse Alyssa brought home 3rd overall on Miss Demeanor in the Primary 90cm and 4th overall in Dunelm Night Show in the Primary 80cm.
Alyssa made her first trip to Boneo Park and competed at the Australian Showjumping Championships for the first time. Miss Demeanor and Koji both did a great job in the Children’s Class, finishing just out of the placings on both with 4 fault rounds at 1.15m, the first time Alyssa has competed at this height. The pocket rocket Dunelm Night Show placed all week in the pony 90cm class, ending the week with 2nd in the final.
There was a couple of highlights at Sale World Cup Show with Alyssa and Miss Demeanor winning the open 95cm class, they also competed in their first 1.20m class!
Alyssa jumped in a six bar for the first time, Miss Demeanor and Koji both jumping 1.30 and Dunelm Night Show having the last fence at 1.20m, a big fence for his 12.3h legs to attempt! Alyssa ended the year strongly, qualifying all 3 horses for PC State Championships, but will just be taking 2, Koji and Chloe in the B grade.
